Agriculture

Agriculture is a significant part of the Yolo County economy, and there are energy efficiency programs to help businesses involved in agricultural production, processing, and distribution. To learn more about program eligibility, please contact us or visit the websites of the implementors listed below.
---
The Agriculture & Food Wastewater Energy Program (WEP)
The Agriculture and Food Wastewater Energy Program (WEP) helps agriculture and food and beverage processing facilities implement energy efficiency and water conservation projects, resulting in wastewater treatment energy savings.
Industrial Refrigeration Performance Plus (IRPP)
IRPP is a program delivered by VaCom Technologies as part of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) 2016-2017 portfolio of Energy Efficiency Programs. IRPP provides energy efficiency analysis, implementation and monitoring for facilities with large refrigeration systems.
Wine Industry Efficiency Solutions (WIES)
The Wine Industry Efficiency Solutions (WIES) Program helps winery and brewery customers identify potential opportunities to reduce energy use, provides project recommendations based on industry-specific experience, and quantifies the economic value of energy efficiency upgrades. The WIES Program provides a clear path toward increased energy savings, including simple access to deemed rebates and calculated incentives for all systems found at a winery or brewery — from grape presses to boilers to waste ponds, and everything in between at no-cost.
Dairy Industry Resource Advantage (DIRA)
The Dairy Industry Resource Advantage (DIRA) Program helps dairy customers identify potential opportunities to reduce energy use, provides project recommendations based on industry-specific experience, and quantifies the economic value of energy efficiency upgrades. The DIRA Program provides a clear path toward increased energy savings, including simple access to deemed rebates and calculated incentives for all systems found at a dairy at no-cost.
Advanced Pumping Efficiency Program (APEP)
The Advanced Pumping Efficiency Program (APEP) is an educational and incentive program intended to improve overall pumping efficiency and encourage energy conservation in California.
