Yolo Energy Watch helps small and medium businesses take advantage of existing energy efficiency measures. The core incentive program is called "Energy Fitness," which is a low-cost* installation of energy efficient lighting and other measures. You start saving money on your energy bill immediately.

Here's how the Energy Fitness program works:

2. A technician visits your business to conduct a free, no-obligation energy assessment to determine your potential savings.
3. An installation team makes an appointment to install the energy efficient measures that make sense for your business.

* Businesses other than nonprofits or corporations may receive an IRS 1099 if the improvements exceed $600 in value.

Low-cost measures include:
  • LED "open" signs
  • Occupancy sensors
  • Fluorescent lighting
  • T8 and T5 lighting
  • Fluorescent hardwired fixtures
  • Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs)
  • ECM motors
  • LED refrigerator case lighting
  • Refrigeration efficiency retrofits

  • 4-foot (2-lamp) T12 conversion to 4-foot (2-lamp) T8
